Position Summary

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for end users across the organization. This role will handle help desk requests, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support mobile applications, and assist with light infrastructure and networking tasks. The analyst will ensure timely resolution of incidents, maintain system stability, and contribute to a high level of customer service for all IT-related needs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for help desk inquiries, providing Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, and user account issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Provide basic networking support (e.g., Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, cabling) and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, and user provisioning/de-provisioning.
  • Assist with patch management, updates, and routine system maintenance.
  • Monitor and respond to IT tickets within defined SLAs, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with end users.
  • Support mobile device management (Intune/MDM) including security policies and application deployment.
  • Document common issues, solutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Networking Manager to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations as required.

Required Education

  • 4 year degree in a technology or related field OR 5+ years infrastructure / support experience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support/help desk role.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with mobile device platforms and support (iOS/Android).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Exposure to ITIL practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
