  • Position Summary

    The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory cycle counting for all products in the warehouse with a strong reliance on accuracy and contributes to a safe and orderly working environment.

    Major Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits and reconciliations
    • Track and report non-conforming product
    • Utilize SAP to maintain/process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity and past activity
    • Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
    • Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged products
    • Work with warehouse personnel to ensure proper rotation and location of all inventory
    • Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
    • Maintain product identification and location program
    • Must be able to work overtime as required.
    • Assist with other warehouse duties as directed by manager.
    • Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.

    Required Education

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Must be Forklift certified
    • 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • SAP experience and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
    • Pays close attention to detail and demonstrates strong organization skills.
    • Must be reliable and responsible; and must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
    • Basic Math skills
    • Ability to operate and maneuver powered industrial truck lift equipment.
    • Associate must frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

    Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
    • 2-year degree
    • Ability to solve practical problems
