    Position Summary

    The Inventory Analyst is responsible for organizing data from multiple systems to determine appropriate stocking levels for rental assets and sale inventory.  Provides analytical and forecasting support for the development, implementation and management of strategies that drive improvements toward the allocation of rental assets across our footprint of 135 warehouses in the U.S. Interacts with internal and external customers to communicate results and expected improvements. Accepts challenges and provides support on plans to achieve goals. Coordinates and manages small to medium sized logistics projects as directed.

    Major Duties & Responsibilities

    • Design and develop necessary tools to analyze to monitor rental asset utility which enables allocation recommendations and eliminates rental asset stock outs.
    • Leads existing cycle count program for rental assets, reports and analyzes weekly performance.
    • Analyze rental asset inventory for CapEx purchase recommendations.
    • Provides approved purchasing requirements to Inventory Admin.
    • Analyze field inventory levels to identify potential excesses and opportunities for better utilization, repositioning or pull back.
    • Manage equipment life cycle movements, provide repair strategy, report KPIs to Inventory Manager.
    • Analyze CRM and ECC equipment records, provide alternate product strategy based on demand.
    • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional leaders to ensure customer SLAs (service level agreements) are met or exceeded.
    • Lead strategic analyses to support A&O (Aging and Obsolete) initiatives, collaborate w/ product management team to support rental asset replacement strategy.
    • Participate in continuous improvement projects, root cause analysis, and related process improvement initiatives.

    Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, other related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years demand planning, inventory analysis, forecasting, or replenishment experience or equivalent. Demonstrated understanding of supply chain operations.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced lookups and “if” formulas) and/or Access, ERP - SAP ECC (MM) or Oracle/JDE
    • Demonstrated customer service orientation. Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills.
    • Demonstrated strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, ability to recognize trends, correlations and gaps in inventory analysis.
    • Proven record working within a dynamic and results oriented organization focused on empowered work teams.
    • Demonstrated efficient work methods and an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently while making key decisions that impact the field operations team and drive organizational performance.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in and be challenged by a team-based environment which places a high degree of emphasis on accountability, customer service levels, inventory management, and cost reduction.
