    Position Summary

    The Human Resources Coordinator is a vital member of the Joerns HealthCare team. The purpose of this position is to assist the Talent Acquisition team with various activities throughout the onboarding process.

    Major Duties & Responsibilities

    • Researches and resolves all levels of inquiries regarding onboarding issues
    • Coordinate and ensure completion of application and new hire documents
    • Coordinate and ensure completion of background check and drug screen (DOT physical and adequate documentations to maintain compliance)
    • Communicate effectively with candidates, talent partners and field managers at all stages in the hiring process recognizing and expressing any concerns or “red flags” that may occur during this stage of the hiring process
    • Coordinate and ensure completion of on-boarding steps for new employee
    • Track and report various metrics and statistics
    • Assist in career/job fairs when necessary
    • Coordinate and track all employee referral activity
    • Develop rosters for FST training in Charlotte; organizing and distributing travel itineraries in a timely and cost-efficient fashion; collaborating with Talent Development, Field Managers, Fox Travel, and Accounts Payable.
    • Prepare agendas and take detailed notes for all regularly scheduled HR meetings; ordering team meals when necessary
    • Assist with ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to, audits, presentations and reporting
    • Closely oversee schedules and calendars for HR leadership, making and communicating edits when necessary
    • Submit expense reports for the HR team leaders
    • Ensure all HR invoices are provided to Accounts Payable and payments are made promptly
    • Assist Talent Acquisition Partners with screening applicants when needed

    Required Education

    Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Experience with applicant tracking system
    • Significant attention to detail required
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and organize multiple activities which require close attention to detail under tight deadlines
    • Experience with organizing basic travel accommodations
    • Ability to make sound judgments with regard to the on-boarding process
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Effective computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Outlook and Web Browsing

    Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

    • Experience with iCIMS
    • Experience with third party background vendors
    • Strong customer relations skills
