Position Summary

The Site Administrator is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Assists end users in resolving issues by fielding telephone calls and email communication, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities and implements solutions.  Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to facilitate a timely resolution. 

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Assist with remote user requests
  • Write training documents
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Maintain user accounts
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Repair, test, configure, deploy, move, upgrade and otherwise maintain computers, phones, mobility hardware, printers, and accessories
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statements.
  • Works with members of the desktop/network teams and other workgroups within IT on projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Tasks related to position as deemed necessary by the IT Manager.

 

Required Education

Minimum of Associate’s degree or completion of Technical Program or equivalent experience.  

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years work experience
  • Ability and desire to learn Corporate, Division, and Facility specific applications, technology, and terminology

     

  • Excellent Customer Service experience preferably in a high volume, support environment

     

  • Strong analytical skills

     

  • Ability to solve problems

     

  • Effective communication and listening skills

     

  • Able to effectively work with minimal supervision

     

  • Competency in MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • ITIL Certification
