Position Summary

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for growing sales with an assigned territory. In this position the Corporate Account Manager will provide effective business solutions to customers through innovative and strategic planning, superior customer service and prospecting in various regions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand value proposition for the Joerns Healthcare product/service solutions
  • Effectively communicate value proposition for all product categories to key customers
  • Supports achievement of specific revenue goals and product category commitments within a defined portfolio of accounts through
  • Work with the field sales team to create strategic selling initiatives
  • Support all aspects of a business development relationship internally within marketing, financial, operations, sales, marketing, etc.
  • Effective implementation of SalesForce.com (SFDC) and all related sales automation and reporting mechanisms
  • 90% of time dedicated to supporting our partnerships with assigned corporate account customers
  • Presenting of products, services and solutions.
  • Presenting on each product, focusing on the “core message” for each product in the line
  • Presenting the entire product line at the executive level and to multiple decision-makers within the facility
  • 10% of time allocated to administrative activities: trade shows, sample management, Saleforce.com, expense reporting
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations

Required Education

4 year degree required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Sales and customer support experience with strong understanding of the solutions selling process
  • Proficient in business management
  • Proficient in CRM software (MS Office, etc.) and mobile technology  
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively track sales activity, develop sales plans, understand local market and competitive positioning
  • Ability to complete the analysis of sales trends and opportunity management

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

  • Demonstrated excellence in account development and territory management calling on all levels of an organization
  • Highly effective and very strong team building, verbal and written communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen to manage sales cycles and close agreements on multiple product lines
  • Direct report management experience
  • Effective planning/organizational
  • Relationship building, networking skills
  • Must achieve standard certifications in wound care (WCEI) and safe patient handling (CSPHA)
