Position Summary

The Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the development, accuracy and timeliness of the company's sales reporting, and ensures timely communication to both internal and external customers.  Primary areas of focus include (but are not limited to) assisting in report automation and standardization, defining and prioritizing business reporting needs to IT, support of commercial organization through preparation of daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting materials, as well as other ad-hoc support for the commercial organization.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Consolidate current sales reporting landscape to an aligned future state which increases organizational efficiencies while still maintaining levels of customer support
  • Continuous maintenance and evolution of reporting to adapt to the organizations needs
  • Design of informative reports through the collection, organization, and validation of data from various sources in collaboration with IT resources
  • Identification and communication of material changes in trends or deviations from targets that require management attention/action.
  • Preparation, consolidation and validation of materials used for management review of financial results.
  • Consolidation of data to assist in potential new rental opportunities, requiring collaboration with commercial organization and a sound understanding of the business
  • Serve as commercial team’s primary contact for sales reporting needs, and ensuring they understand the data they use daily
  • Other sales reporting/analysis and special projects as required

Required Education

Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years analytical experience
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong oral, and written, communication skills
  • Excellent business partnering skills - ability to interact and communicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

  • Qlik, Tableau or Power BI (preferred) experience
  • SAP experience
  • Query development and large data management experience
  • Flexible with responsibilities/tasks
  • Self-motivator/learner
  • Able to succeed and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced growth oriented business culture
