Position Summary :
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring all transactions for all order types are recorded timely and accurately. Validating and order confirmation processing of orders to record revenue in the billing system.
Major Duties & Responsibilities :
Confirmation of all information entered in the billing system for all orders. Order types include; delivery, pick up and service calls. Revenue is recorded upon processing and attaching correct equipment assets/items, both rental and sale. Verifies pricing is linked to correct line items.
Ensures pricing is set up in master price files as orders are processed. Ensures correct payer is attached that is responsible for payment.
Responsible to resolve all pending issues on completed transactions by the end of month.
Ensures proper WIP states are attached to follow up on documentation support such as prescriptions, medical records; verifying diagnosis and doctor has been added to the patient record.
Order completion processing in customer software portal for a large Hospice account. Reconcile to company billing system.
Reconciling open order reports each month.
Maintaining various reports for order tracking and performance.
Back up support for Customer Service department (order intake, answering high volume of inbound calls).
Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
Additional duties as requested or required.
Required Education :
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills & Experience :
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills
Proficient in Data Entry both speed and accuracy
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Possess excellent written communication skills
Ability to articulate and communicate with all levels of staff
Candidate must be able to handle pressure and strict deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Overtime may be required during peak times of the month which might include one weekend during the month to ensure timely completion of all transactions for month end close
