Position Summary :

The (Service) Technician is responsible for installation and service of patient lift systems to customer facilities in a timely and professional manner, including educating the patient on the safe operation and use of company product.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for delivery and installation of service lift systems in accordance with arranged schedule to the customer/patient
  • Demonstrates patient proper and safe use of product
  • Loads and unloads product in an secure manner in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Drives safely while obeying all traffic laws
  • Checks electrical outlets for power and proper ground when delivering electrically powered home medical equipment, in addition to observing entire environment/surroundings for any concerns in accordance with set procedures
  • Completes required paperwork upon delivery, pick up, or service of product and follows and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
  • Local and out of state travel

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent 

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 2 years of customer service or comparable experience
  • Must have a valid and current driver license 
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written), along with good organizational skills

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education :

  • Must have willingness and ability to work extended workweek, including evenings and weekends, and travel
  • Work/drive safely in all aspects of job
  • Previous driving/delivery or construction experience
  • Hammer drilling, minor electrical, basic carpentry and metal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment
